Our COVID-19 Guidelines http://www.flyfisheyebrook.co.uk/about-us/

If you are calling the fisheries after 6.00pm the staff during the evening session have extra disinfecting duties to carry out on boats, pontoon & life jackets.

The staff will always try to do the best they can for you but due to the extra workload currently involved with disinfecting, they may not be in the position to deal with your enquiry straight away. They may ask you to call back later or they will take your details to call you back.

We value your custom & appreciate your cooperation as we continue to work to the required guidelines to deal with coronavirus

Fishery Report: Week Ending: 7th June 2020

Water clarity is excellent current water temperature is 19c+ degrees. Fish are feeding on lots of damsels, pin fry & snails. Trout anglers report catching pike to 20lb on damsel nymphs, buzzer & snakes, looks to be excellent for our Pike fly fishing which start on 16th June

Monday & the warmer weather bought with it challenging conditions. Anglers reported large number of damsels with some of the trout feeding hard on this annual bounty with the added pin fry starting to show around the margins. G Lewin caught 8 fishing a midge tip with damsels & pheasant tails, Mr Seabrook fished the afternoon session catching 7 trout with Mr Haddon also fishing the afternoon fishing a floating line with cdc shipman’s & dries to catch his 10 trout

Tuesday & another hot day, thank goodness for a cooler forecast from Wednesday onwards. Kev Jones bank fished the morning session eventually taking 3 trout from the chestnut tree, 25 yards off this area the shallow shelf drops off into deeper water, it was fishing the deeper water Kev found the fish. C Hawkins fished an indicator with static buzzer to catch his 8 trout.

Coming into the weekend the cooling weather has certainly caught out a few anglers at Eyebrook, with 2 heavy bouts of hail, some blustering wind then some bright sunshine. The conditions certainly gave our new residents a chance to swim away unhindered, even under the watchful eye of a hungry looking Osprey

Sunday has brought us a very mild and pleasant sort of day out on Eyebrook, a very different day from Saturday where a few anglers braved the wind and the rain. Saturday started off a bit wild and eased up as the day went on. Eyebrook regular, Dave Etty managed to whittle out 8 from the bank in very difficult conditions.

The cooler weather looks to be bringing the fish back in to the banks and the catch returns are steadily increasing again.

With most fly-fishing venues now opening, Anglers are now spoilt for choice again. Eyebrook now has boat availability during the week and can be easily booked a few days in advance now rather than the 10-day waiting period we had before due to the sheer volume of anglers calls we were handling.
